reMail is or we should say was an application available on the AppStore and its function was to create index of contents in e-mails in order to perform an advanced search in messages. Its developer announced on its website that Google bought the application and gave him a position in the Gmail team. Almost at the same time, the application disappeared from the AppStore. So, we can now postulate that google will either try to rebrand the application or will integrate it into a more global technology or to one of its online services. Indexing is a usual policy and strategy for Google, and it will support the growing number of customers complaining about Google intrusions in their private life
