A new capital investment firm, AppFund, has been launched to support iPad development. The company is based in New York City, and is the work of Kevin Wendle and Daniel Klaus, the former of which may be best known for co-founding CNET and E! Online. Both are promising money and expertise for creating iPad apps; financial contributions should range from $5,000 to $500,000, depending on the complexity of the software and its profit potential.
