We now understand why the iPhone Dev website was down earlier today, as Apple released a new version, bringing additional tools to the iPhone SDK to develop iApple for the iPad. The Phone SDK 3.2 beta is available for download to members of the iPhone Developer Program.
Last but not least, Apple is working on unifying SDK as developers can "now start planning for universal applications, allowing them to take full advantage of the technologies found on iPad, iPhone, and iPod touch with a single binary".
