OCZ offers a new firmware update for its SSD Agility and Vertex (except Turbo). The update 1.5 applies to the disks that were already running 1.4 or 1.4.1 and supports simultaneously Garbage collector and the TRIM (see here for the explanations). Garbage collector would be also more aggressive, and the parameters of Wear-leveling adjusted.Although it does not erase the data of the disks, we strongly suggest that you make a backup before the update. It is applied in a traditional way, downloading and then burning a freedos image on a CD; it is then necessary to restart and to follow the instructions.
