It is now about 3 weeks that we stared to hear persistent and precise rumors about iPhone OS 4.0. According to some sources, its announcement could come along with the iSlate, illustrating the goal of Apple to offer a more unified mobile OS for its mobile devices. Boy Genius Report thinks to have reliable information about new features/functions brought by the new OS:
There will be multi-touch gestures OS-wide.
Ability to run applications in the background and multitasking.
Several graphical and UI changes to improve navigation through the OS and pages of application.
This new OS 4.0 would leave the first iPhone EDGE on the side of the road.
