As NVIDIA could not demo any Fermi-based graphic card, it nevertheless announced that its future (revolutionary?) GPU has entered into mass production. So if there is no further delay, the first cards based on the GF100, aka Fermi, should be available in March. NVIDIA expects to capture back the leadership from ATI/AMD with this new GPU, not a small task if one considers that performance gap between current NVIDIA GPU-based cards and the ARI/AMD Radeon HD 5xx0.
Regarding the potential integration of Fermi into our Mac, it should not be for tomorrow as Apple has defined a strategy for now years: bring the high-end GPU to Mac couple of weeks before the new generation GPU will be available on PC
