Canto has announced Cumulus 8.1, a new version of its digital asset management (DAM) platform. The update offers a web client included with Cumulus Workgroup, Enterprise and Complete, enabling users to connect to Cumulus through web browsers, where they can then upload new assets or download metadata. Improvements have been made to the statistics and usage tracking features through new reporting options and types, as well as PDF output options.
