If the iMac 27" models powered by Core i5 or i7 have strongly improved performance of this type of hardware and even competing with entry-level or mid-range Mac Pro, one should not forget that the entry level iMac with Core 2 Duo can still deliver strong performance level. The BTO for having a CPU at 3.33 GHz, 180 €, will bring power but not necessarily so much when compared to lowered clocked models.However, it will offer the fastest iMac 21.5" when display size matters.
