In South Korea, getting a mobile phone is not a straight forward action, and usually requires times and administrative procedures. For the launch of the iPhone in this country on November 28th, Apple and carriers organized a pre-order system to make it easy for customers. Already 50,000 customers reserved their iPhone. This is a excellent result if we consider that in this country two mobile phone manufacturers own the market, Samsung and LG. This figure is certainly important for Apple after the "fiasco-like" launch of the iPhone in China, where we could only get information regarding the 5,000 units sold on the first day. So far, no other figures have been provided to the media.
