Apple has beaten previous leader Google into second place in this year’s Thought Leadership Index. The Index is based on a poll of 1,000 CEOs and other business leaders in the UK. The poll was conducted by Populus. Participants were asked to identify those organisations which they believed successfully introduced new thinking, products and business models, and also delivered on the "promise" of their brand.Apple finished behind Google in the same study last year, but this year jumped its rival into first place.
