Following the launch of AppleCare+ for Apple TV in April, Apple on Tuesday extended the standard AppleCare warranty plan for its set-top streamer by offering an additional year of coverage.Apple informed existing AppleCare Protection Plan for Apple TV customers of the change in policy through an email delivered Tuesday, reports MacRumors.According to the short note, Apple TV customers who opted for the AppleCare Protection Plan are covered for up to three years after purchase.
