Logic Pros Live Loops Launchpad Diary: Transforming entire projects to cells in one-click
Today we are taking a look at the copy to Live Loops function and transforming your regions into cells. While we previously explored some of the more performance-based applications of Launchpads and Live Loops, arguably the most obvious use for Apple’s grid-based production environment is in arrangement. You can easily and quickly experiment with transitions from one part to any other without having to start dragging and dropping huge, unwieldy chunks of regions around. Sure, that’s nothing some Marquee tool or skip/cycle wizardry can’t handle on the regular timeline, but there’s really no comparing that to the musical immediacy and hands-on immersion of triggering these sections with a single Launchpad button, all-synced to the timeline and without having to commit to anything until you’ve experienced the change.

The other day someone was showing me a test site for a thing. And I looked at it and I went: It‘s a free font. Buy the font! Wer…

Coming May 1: the 60-inch iPad Pro Maxed Out Max
In a Jan. 21, 2020 iMore article, Joseph Keller made an interesting argument for a 15-inch iPad Pro AND a 27-incher. However, the Sellers Research Group (that’s me) has discovered that Apple thinks such tablets would be too small and plans to introduce a super-sized iPad Pro. Sources tell me that the iPad Pro Maxed […]

Siri may YELL at you (or whisper) in the near future (no kiddin’)

Apple introduces the HomePod Max, its portable house pod
Apple may have discontinued the original HomePod, but has introduced the HomePod Max. But it’s not what you think. It’s not a speaker, but a small house. A pod that you live in. In other words, it’s a “teeny” tiny home. Sources tell me that Apple originally intended to call it the “Apple Home,” but […]

App Tamer for Mac Lifetime Subscription
Some applications, particularly web browsers and older apps, continue running tasks or animating ads even when they’re idle. That uses valuable processing (CPU) power, which leaves you with less CPU power, increased heat & fan noise, and reduced battery runtime. Opinion: Apple Arcade just went from a potential flop to a likely success
We still can’t say that many Apple services, besides Apple Music, are a hit. In fact, we know that Apple TV+ has a small but growing list of subscribers, and that people have been losing interest in Apple Arcade and Apple News+.
It’s been two years since Apple held its 2019 March event focusing on Services, and a year and a half since Apple Arcade was released. Only now can we say that Apple has piqued user interest with Apple Arcade, and given users a major reason to subscribe to Apple One. Here’s why.

„Why today feels like a quiet turning point for video games”
Microsoft’s and Apple’s bets on downloadable subscription services would seemingly place them behind their streaming counterparts in the long run, but that’s not quite the case. Their success shows that they’re neither ahead of the curve nor behind it; they’re simply meeting the expectations of their players. Apple debuted 30 games on Friday on a…
