Apple Pay May Soon Expand to Poland
Apple has been working on expanding Apple Pay to additional countries across the world, and Poland could potentially be next on the list to gain access to the payments service.
According to Polish Apple news site AppleCenter, the Polish Apple.com site temporarily had a section for Apple Pay, suggesting it could be launching in Poland in the near future.
The Apple Pay page that was on the Polish site is no longer accessible, and while it listed potential retail partners in Poland, it did not reference potential partnerships with Polish banks.
Polish users have also noticed references to Apple Pay in the Touch Bar and in Safari settings, and Polish banks, including mBank and PKO have said Apple Pay is in the works. A launch date is not known, however.
Apple Pay is currently available in the U.S., UK, China, Australia, Canada, Switzerland, France, Hong Kong, Russia, Singapore, Japan, New Zealand, and Spain.Related Roundup: Apple Pay Tag: Poland Discuss this article in our forums
