Apple has shipped an update for GarageBand for the Mac, adding in extra support for the companion apps on iOS. Version 10.11 of the app is now compatible with the functions introduced into GarageBand for iOS at the start of the year, including Live Loops, as well as the ability to open up song projects created in Music Memos, and for those just using the Mac for music creation, a large collection of new loops to use in their projects.
