Paper notebook producer Moleskine is attempting to merge together its books and pads with smartphones and tablets, by making the Smart Writing Set. The collection consists of a smart pen and a paper-based notebook with specially-printed paper, which when used together can transfer images, words, and drawings from the physical page to a companion app running on an iOS or Android mobile device, providing the user an instant digital version of their notes.
