Apple has yanked the latest iOS 9.3 update, but only for older iPhones and iPads in Software Update, after user complaints about activation errors occurring on attempting to complete the installation process. Affected users include those running iPhone 5s models or earlier compatible iPhones, as well as iPad Air and earlier iPad models, particularly the iPad 2 from 2011. Apple has issued a statement indicating that it is working on a fix, while also posting a support note to help those affected troubleshoot the issue in the interim.
