Latest CarPlay vehicles from Hyundai, Subaru, Honda, VW, & others on show at NY Auto Show
With the New York International Auto Show taking place this week, car makers are showing off the latest vehicles featuring Apple’s CarPlay platform including new 2017 models from Hyundai, Honda, Volkswagen, Chevrolet, Subaru, Kia, and others.
The latest vehicles with support for Apple’s CarPlay platform, which brings iPhone features like phone calls, messaging, music, and apps to in-dash displays, include Hyundai’s 2017 Ioniq lineup, Kia’s 2017 Cadenza, Chevrolet’s 2017 Sonic, VW’s 2017 Golf Alltrack, Honda’s 2017 Civic Hatchback, and Subaru’s 2017 Impreza. As is the trend, all the vehicles are also integrating the competitive Android Auto platform.
And earlier this month, Ford announced that the 2017 Escape would be its first vehicle with CarPlay support when it arrives in May.
