Ars gives iPhone 8 thumbs up (now that's handy for touch-typing)

They cover everything from the Apps to the innards of the beast, and even "stress-test' it, Ars-style (to crack the glass they had to put it face down on a sidewalk and ask a 225 pound guy to step on it). So, what's their conclusion? They rate it 8/10 which is pretty good, and here is the skinny: Pros: • Web surfing experience is superior to other phones • Overall SMS experience is great • Practically non-scratchable • Looks fantastic in every way • Easy to use, self-discoverable • Soft keyboard is definitely usable • iPod interface rocks Cons: • iPhone is currently locked to AT&T • No worthwhile Exchange support • No wireless syncing over Bluetooth or WiFi, must tether via USB, no modem use at all • Ext
