On Tuesday, Apple opened up its iOS News app to all publishers, and has promised to shortly update its New Publisher portal with new analytics tools. The change means that nearly any publisher with a desire to do so can opt to add content to the News app. Up until now, only 100 publishers were allowed to put their RSS article feeds on the free program, but the News Publisher portal is now open to everyone, with more controls over how publishers want their stories presented.
