Adobe has shipped an emergency update for Flash that closes a number of "critical vulnerabilities that could potentially allow an attacker to take control of the affected system." Affecting the Flash Player for Mac, PC, and Linux, as well as AIR for desktops and Android, and the Air SDK compiler, Adobe advises the patch issued yesterday is urgent due to an exploit that is "being used in limited, targeted attacks" against a number of users.
