Canon has revealed the successor to the Rebel T5 DSLR camera, providing some connectivity upgrades as well as serving as an entry-level shooter below the Rebel T6i and T6s from last year. The EOS Rebel T6, known as the EOS 1300D outside the United States, has the same 18-megapixel APS-C CMOS sensor to its predecessor, combined with the DIGIC 4+ image processor and a nine-point autofocus system with a single cross-type AF point in the center.
