HTC is shipping its virtual reality headset in April, and will start accepting pre-orders for the head-mounted VR display from February 29, the smartphone producer has confirmed. The final consumer version of the HTC Vive has been finalized, with HTC showing off the unit at Mobile World Congress this week, though the manufacturer has unexpectedly priced the Vive at a high $800, seemingly putting it out of reach of many potential users.
