Apple has launched an exchange program for some USB-C cables that it sold in June 2015, both packed-in with the MacBook launched that year, as well as sold separately at Apple Retail stores and other venues. According to Apple, only a "limited number of cables" have a flaw that, while not dangerous to connected equipment, may interfere with proper charging of a connected device.
