Apple is apparently trying to help people with a tendency to crack or smash their iPhone display, with two initiatives to help before and after the screen is damaged. It is claimed Apple will soon provide credit for iPhone trade-ins with cracks or damage to the screen or buttons, while some Apple Store outlets in Japan are apparently offering the installations of screen protectors onto devices on behalf of the customer.
