Apple may be considering using a new communications technology in a future iPhone or iPad, if a discovery found in recent versions of iOS is to be believed. The iOS library cache file is found to include references to "LiFiCapability" along with a number of capability declarations related to the technology, additions which strongly suggest Apple is exploring the possibility of adding Li-Fi connectivity to a future iOS device.
