DJI is making its drones more useful for industrial and safety-related purposes, by working with FLIR Systems to add a thermal imaging option to its camera range. The Zenmuse XT is a thermal camera designed for use with drones, one that is able to capture footage showing areas with high or low temperatures, making it useful in search and rescue operations, fire fighting, and for quickly inspecting crops on a farm.
