First Alert Onelink is a new HomeKit-enabled smoke and carbon monoxide detector, the first to allow owners to use an iOS device to receive remote alerts, silence false alarms or test the unit. The Onelink comes in two versions: a battery-only unit that includes a non-removable battery pack that is rated for the entire 10-year average life of the unit, or a hardwired version that includes a nightlight feature. The unit features multiple alarms that can be set to signal what time of danger is present or where it is in the house.
