Sony has introduced a new Alpha DSLR camera aimed at the entry-level market, one that is said to have inherited many of the features from the Alpha A77 II. The Alpha A68 houses a 24-megapixel APS-C Exmor CMOS image sensor backed by a 4D Focus phase detection system employing 79 autofocus points, 15 cross points, a dedicated F2.8 AF sensor point for dark scenes, and translucent mirror technology to give it constant AF tracking while shooting at 8fps.
