Apple today announced that ResearchKit is enabling new research studies on autism, epilepsy and melanoma. The studies, launched by Duke, Johns Hopkins, and the Oregon Health and Science University, utilize iOS and Apple Watch sensors in different ways to detect conditions earlier, or help caregivers provide appropriate responses to emergent conditions.
