Scottrade, 28 others sign on to support Apple Pay

On Tuesday, Apple updated its page listing Apple Pay-supporting financial institutions with another 29 US banks, credit unions, and other such card issuers, bringing the new total to 532. Among the new partners listed is national discount broker chain Scottrade, Velocity Credit Union (the largest CU in Texas), and the LA Police Federal Credit Union, among others. The list cracked 500 partners about a month ago, and the new additions come on the heels of recent announcements of additional US merchant support.
