Apple is set to pay the Los Angeles Unified School District $4.2 million of a proposed $6.4 million settlement regarding a failed plan to provide the entire district with iPads, the Los Angeles Times reports. The remainder of the money will be made up by not paying for recently purchased Lenovo laptops.
