Developers lukewarm on Ajax iPhone apps, hope for more Apple CEO Steve Jobs called Apple's plan to let software makers build web-based applications for the iPhone "a pretty sweet solution" during this week's Worldwide Developers Conference keynote. But many of the developers Macworld spoke to at the week-long conference in San Francisco sounded fairly sour about the arrangement.
