QuickerTek has announced the US$299, 30 Watt 2015 Type-C MacBook Solar Panel (http://tinyurl.com/omewbse). It features the USB 3.1 adaptor cable which powers and charges the 12-inch MacBook with Retina display.
This new solar product powers the MacBook battery for use even while charging the internal battery. Even when the MacBook battery is completely dead, the QuickerTek solar panel charges and powers the laptop simultaneously.
