Saffron, a small LED lighting company based out of Utah, is holding a Kickstarter crowd funding process for an app-enabled LED Light Bulb that will automatically adjust color temperature throughout the day to improve sleep. The new Silk Light brings the sun inside of the home by automatically adjusting its color temperature throughout the day. It connects to a smartphone via a Wi-Fi controlled bridge to easily sync with the local time zone, but it can also follow user-customized schedules for more flexibility.
