The company SAI will release on June 15th a Blu-ray driver for Mac OS X.
It will allow you to read and write data on-the-fly on a Blu-ray media, treated as a removable HFS+ storage unit.
Toast 8.0 includes already such feature, and we tested it in our dedicated article describing how to burn BD media on a Mac
We were a bit disappointed by the performance level, with data transfer speed below 2MB/s. We will of course test the driver from SAI as soon as it will become available. The driver will be priced US$49.95 and will be compatible on Intel and PPC-based Macs.
