Electric car manufacturer Tesla is making a change to the Powerwall home battery, allowing it to power more devices simultaneously. According to Ubergizmo, CEO Elon Musk told shareholders at an annual general meeting the continuous and peak power output of the Powerwall will be doubled from 2kW and 3.3kW to 4kW and 7kW respectively. The change is being made without increasing the $3,000 cost for the 7kWh model, nor the $3,500 10kWh version.
