While Apple has never formally announced a specific launch date for HomeKit, its home-control automation technology, Fortune magazine claimed earlier on Thursday that unnamed sources "participating in the program" said the launch had been pushed back to August or September from an original May-June time frame. In refuting the report, Apple has acknowledged that the first HomeKit accessories will be coming to market next month.
