Patriot Memory is working on a USB thumb drive that attempts to solve the problem of transferring data between devices that possess USB-C ports, such as the MacBook and the Google Chromebook Pixel, and regular USB connections. The Type-C USB Flash Drive is a compact external memory device that will be able to use the smaller USB connection, but will still be able to work with systems using existing USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 ports.
