In addition to reader reports of the first wave of Apple Watch pre-orders moving from "processing" to "preparing for shipment" -- a sign that the delivery will be taking place soon -- some customers who ordered non-Sport or other Apple Watch models who initially were given 6-8 week shipment windows have reported that their credit cards have been charged and their order status also changed to "preparing to ship," though the estimated delivery dates have not yet been amended. Those who have ordered custom Retina MacBook models are also reporting charges.
