Developer SoftRAID has released the latest version of its eponymous OS X RAID tool. The new version 5.0.7 is claimed to be up to 86 percent faster than Apple-provided RAID software, with the company claiming nearly all of its development time over the last three months for fine tuning and accelerating the code.
