Since Minecraft became went public in 2009, the survival game genre has blown up in popularity. More and more games are being released, all with one simple objective: survival against all odds. Most of these games feature interesting crafting concepts and lateral puzzle solving, which is likely one of the big reasons the genre is doing as well as it is. We checked out Radiation Island, a surprisingly rich mobile survival game by developer Atypical Games.
