Native Instruments has released an update of its Maschine software, a component of its integrated hardware/software groove production system. The update, version 2.2, adds a new melodic dimension to the Maschine workflow, called Smart Play. The Smart Play features include a new scale and chord engine, as well as a fully-functional arpeggiator.
