Nest Labs has issued an official recall of all of the Nest Protect Smoke + Carbon Monoxide Detector units it has sold, about 440,000 in all. Sales of the device were halted early last month after company CEO Tony Fadell issued a letter saying the fire alarm could be delayed under certain circumstances.
