New Tony Hawk Game 'Shred Session' Launching on iOS This Summer [iOS Blog]

Skateboarding legend Tony Hawk has been the star of 16 different video games, dating back to 1999. His newest title, which is set to be released later this year, is going to be exclusive to mobile devices and TouchArcade editor-in-chief Eli Hodapp was able to get a hands-on look at the game earlier this week. Tony Hawk's Shred Session is described as a lane-based vertical runner similar to Subway Surfers, but set in the Tony Hawk universe. The game is played in portrait mode and uses natural swiping gestures. According to Hodapp, the gameplay is "fluid," incorporating gestures to complete an array of tricks.The big difference in Shred Session, compared to everything else out there, is how they took this formula that's been proven time and time again to work well on mobile, and added all the tricks you're used to from Tony Hawk games.
