How to send an app or iBook as a gift in iOS 7

In addition to the ability to send an app as a gift to a friend from the iOS Store, Apple has added iBooks into the mix, and just in time for Christmas too. Here's how you can send an iPad-, iPhone- or iPod-owning friend an app or an iBook as a present, and schedule it to arrive on the same day as Santa. Pick an app or an iBook If you're sending an app, find the one you'd like to gift in the iOS App Store. You can only gift paid apps, and the friend doesn't need to be running iOS 7 on their iPad, iPhone or iPod, though you may want to check the requirements of the app before you send it. When you've found one, tap on it and then tap the share icon in the top right corner (a square with an arrow pointing upwards).
