Apple began selling Sharp 4K monitor, quickly stopped ahead of Mac Pro launch
Apple was briefly selling a 4K monitor from Sharp on the UK Apple Store over the weekend, before quickly removing the monitor from its website. The short-lived appearance of the 4K monitor hints that the new Mac Pro is very nearly here, but could also suggest that Apple wants to launch its own 4K monitor, too. Sharp's PN-K321 4K Ultra HD LED monitor, which displays images at a 3840 x 2160 pixel resolution, was on sale for £3,499 through Apple's UK store from Friday to Sunday, before being removed completely.
