D-Link has started shipping the DGL-5500, a new gaming-oriented router. The model uses dual-band 802.11ac Wi-Fi, in theory supporting speeds up to 867Mbps. The router's distinguishing feature, though, is Qualcomm's StreamBoost, which automatically shapes traffic to prioritize bandwidth where it's needed.
