AT&T dropped an interesting bit of news this afternoon with the announcement that it'll purchase Leap Wireless in its entirety at a price of $15 per share. In exchange, AT&T will acquire Leap's customers, retail stores and network licenses, which operate within the PCS and AWS bands.
