Apple management is cracking down on retail staff's use of the iOS 7 beta, several retail workers claim. Both store managers and HR representatives are said to be contacting workers discovered using the beta. The managers are reportedly worried that some clerks are paying for registered Developer status, but then distributing iOS 7 to peers. Apple HR is using the internal RetailMe app to remind clerks that installing iOS 7 requires a Developer account.
