Apple has had another important win in the court room against Samsung. This time that court room is located in Tokyo, Japan and deals with Apple's all important rubber-banding patent. That patent protects the animation a user sees when they reach the bottom of the screen on, for example, a webpage on iOS: the webpage bounces up slightly as if it was being pulled back up by a rubber band.
As Reuters reports, the ruling only affects older Samsung devices as Samsung has removed the rubber-banding animation from its software in newer devices. Despite this victory, Apple is still fighting legal battles with Samsung in 10 countries.
